Challenge

Our client, an independent leasing company, provides heavy construction equipment to over one hundred local businesses. The client sought a custom inventory management software to address two main concerns: ensuring regular maintenance of equipment and improving efficiency in handling customer requests, managing rentals, lease status, and invoice payments.

 

Solution

Upon finalizing the project requirements, we approved multiple development phases, including building an MVP and two additional milestones. We deployed the application to Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure for rapid development and deployment of the construction asset tracking software MVP:


We developed construction asset tracking software, offering managers access to equipment details like technical specs, lease status, and maintenance history. 
Integrated with a calendar, our solution visualizes maintenance schedules for prompt inspection reminders. 
Custom notifications prompt employees for regular tech check-ups based on maintenance timelines. 
We introduced maintenance control features, issuing alerts to managers for critical repairs. 
Advanced reporting includes deal type, monthly turnover, and maintenance costs.
Communication channels like Facebook and WhatsApp were integrated, alongside chatbots for enhanced functionality. 
Website updates include customer personal accounts for rental status, invoices, and support interactions. 
A CRM module automates data collection, emails, and reporting, seamlessly integrated into our equipment management software. 

Results

Introducing equipment maintenance schedules reduced downtime and boosted monthly deals by 47%.
Sales cycle management improved with automated data collection and reporting, cutting deal cycles by 33%.
