Challenge
Collecting user or patient’s data securely through mobile apps was the main challenge for us. Implementing physical, network, and security process which encrypts the patience data like health information, treatment, food intake habits, activity logs and shows the encrypted data to authorized associates. All these had to be done in quick time with a secure backend and the web admin portal also.

Solution
We had gone through Dr. Panda’s requirement first and then suggested his go for web and mobile application to reach your patients and participants.
With the huge growth and uses of Smartphone, developing mobile app can reach their target audience and easily collect data of anyone with their figure tips. We had also suggested going with HIPPA compliance to securely transmit health data from user app to the backend server.
HIPPA compliance is must be required for the hosting and mobile apps while developing apps for the Health-related research institutes. There should not be any weak link in the chain of communication to avoid serious penalties as per Hippa regulation. Hippa algorithm encrypts the user data to a separate identity and stores into a secure research database.

We had developed the web application with ruby on rails platform and we used native Android and iOS platforms to developed mobile apps. We had used the ruby restful API’s for users to communicate with mobile apps and for data security, we had used HIPPA Compliance guidelines. We had completed the web and mobile apps with 16 weeks of timeframe and both mobile apps are getting placed on both the Apple App Store & Google Play Store successfully. Now MyCircadianClock helping the research institutes to get their participant information & data for their research purpose securely.
