ASLFlurry
Challenge
Developing ASLFlurry presented the challenge of creating an educational tool that was not only effective in teaching sign language but also engaging enough to keep users motivated to practice and improve their skills. Sign language learning often requires a combination of visual and interactive elements, and it was crucial to ensure that the app delivered a seamless and immersive experience. Additionally, we needed to design the games and puzzles in a way that catered to users of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced learners, while maintaining a consistent learning curve.

Solution
To address these challenges, we designed a dynamic and visually rich interface that used interactive animations to demonstrate signs clearly and accurately. We incorporated gamification elements such as achievements, leaderboards, and levels to motivate users and make learning enjoyable. The puzzles and games were carefully crafted to progressively build on the user’s existing knowledge, ensuring a structured and rewarding learning experience. We also integrated tracking features that allowed users to monitor their progress and identify areas for improvement.
