ProMark, a Danish SaaS workforce management platform, faced significant inefficiencies with its on-premises infrastructure. The process of creating multiple virtual machines for client integrations resulted in resource overestimation during usage spikes, along with high costs and continuous security updates. ProMark sought a more efficient, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure to enhance productivity and streamline operations.

Solution
Baltic Amadeus collaborated with ProMark to migrate its on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft Azure Cloud, utilizing Azure Kubernetes Service to containerize and streamline the application. Working closely with ProMark’s in-house team, Baltic Amadeus performed a cost estimation, implemented a successful proof of concept (POC), and fully transitioned to the cloud.
The solution incorporated DevOps best practices, creating fully autonomous, self-healing, autoscaling environments. A full GitOps-style approach was adopted, allowing developers to use Git as the source of truth for cloud operations. Additionally, comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions were set up for both IT and business personnel, ensuring seamless cloud operations and infrastructure management.
