ARTICLE SYNDICATION WORDPRESS PLUGIN

The client ( Arkansas, USA based content marketing firm ) wanted to develop a wordpress plugin basically for authors so that they could build their own brand with the content and also run campaigns via signing people up for email newsletters. A very important feature of this plugin was granular level advertisement management from the backend.

We developed a wordpress plugin for the authors to submit contents to the website for review by the editors. Once reviewed, the contents are published to the site. The readers of the website can comment on the articles and can also subscribe to their favorite author. Our plugin then integrates with boomtrain (email marketing campaign platform) and updates these subscription lists to boomtrain to run email newsletter campaigns. We also have a section for advertisement management, designed to oversee and control the various advertising activities from the backend. The advertisements are either displayed globally or author wise. Google analytics is also integrated to keep stats about the visitors, active pages, social traffic, keywords etc.
