Challenge

ADCO Hearing Products was looking to enhance the effectiveness of their Google Ads campaign to boost overall ROI (return on investment).

Given the nature of their products, their target demographic tended to be older, which introduced some variability in campaign outcomes. Additionally, they faced challenges in retaining repeat customers.

Solution

The strategy focused on increasing their average order value by 10% and the average number of orders by 25% per month. To further support customer retention and encourage repeat business, we developed an email marketing campaign targeting the top 50 most reordered products, along with an abandoned cart sequence.

Our team thoroughly reviewed their inventory and identified essential information missing from their Shopify records, which was hindering the visibility of these products in their Google Ads.

In collaboration with their team, we updated most of the products, resulting in a more comprehensive presence in the Google Marketplace. Additionally, we audited their existing email marketing strategies and identified opportunities for efficiency improvements through migration to MailChimp.

Once transitioned, we developed automated email sequences for abandoned cart recovery and product replenishment alerts to notify current customers when they may need replacements.

Results

In just one year, we achieved a 107% increase in conversions while significantly enhancing traffic quality. By implementing a high-performing abandoned cart recovery sequence, we successfully converted lost opportunities into new customers.

Additionally, our automated replenishment email strategy has driven measurable improvements in customer retention, re-engaging past buyers who previously would not have returned.
