We Are Social Australia faced significant operational inefficiencies as their creator network expanded. Creator data was scattered across multiple tools such as spreadsheets, emails, and shared documents, making it difficult for teams to find accurate and timely information. Onboarding and managing creators involved repetitive, manual tasks, which consumed valuable time and resources. Additionally, there was no centralized system to track past collaborations or feedback, leading to a lack of context for future engagements. This fragmented setup not only hindered productivity but also posed scalability issues as campaign volume continued to grow.

Solution

Closeloop addressed these challenges by developing Iris, a custom internal platform tailored to the agency's needs. The solution centralized all creator data into comprehensive profiles that include content details, audience metrics, and platform links. It enabled teams to access historical collaboration data and feedback, simplifying decision-making for future campaigns. Rate cards and billing terms were stored in one unified location, while creators were tagged by niche to allow quick discovery based on campaign needs. The platform also supported collaborative features like shared notes, ensuring all departments operated with full visibility and alignment. As a result, Iris transformed how We Are Social managed their creator ecosystem, delivering greater efficiency, scalability, and insight across teams.

The implementation of Iris led to a 50–70% reduction in time spent on creator-related tasks, significantly improving team productivity. It provided full visibility into past collaborations and performance metrics, empowering teams to make better-informed decisions.
