The Aviation industry is heavily reliant on accurate and reliable weather forecasts for protectingpassengers, flight crew, and the airplane itself. Our client wanted to contribute to aviation safety with an innovative solution that allowed pilots to have complete meteorological perspectives and forecasts. This included features for identifying weather conditions at the departure location, along the flight route, and at arrival locations. Additionally, our challenge was to break down complex weather reports such as Terminal Aerodrome Forecast (TAF), Air/Sigmets, and other weather-related data on a single screen with high readability.

Our team decided on including lightning-fast weather updates with a strong emphasis on attractive visualizations for the end-users.

Through six months of bespoke development, Conovo was able to craft Wx24Pilot, a state-of-the-art aviation weather application available for both Android and iOS. With a 4+ rating on both the App Store and Google Play, Wx24 has changed pre-flight planning for people across the aviation sector. Wx24 Pilot is designed to simplify comprehensive aviation weather reports and provide interactive and easy-to-read visuals. The application hones in on data from the National Weather Service, helping in pre-flight planning. Through Wx24, pilots have access to exceptional weather awareness.
