Challenge
The project "Battle of Gladiators" aimed to create a highly immersive multiplayer online game available on PC (via Steam) as well as mobile devices (smartphones and tablets). The core concept was to deliver a gladiator arena combat experience that combines realistic graphics, detailed character control, and engaging team battles. The challenge was to provide players with a true-to-life fighting simulation that promotes fair competition, fosters community, and appeals to fans of historical and action games without the physical risks of real combat sports.
Key objectives included:
Delivering ultra-realistic animations and physics for intense player immersion
Creating a dynamic combat system with full control over weaponry and defensive actions
Designing a multiplayer environment supporting various team modes (1x1 to 5x5)
Implementing a progression and customization system with a vast arsenal of weapons and armor
Developing a synchronized web platform to complement in-game features like tournaments and player rankings

"Sandbox" training mode allowing continuous respawn battles and practice sessions
