
Zoofs: Custom Shopify Store for a Pet Supplement Brand
Challenge
Zoofs needed more than a good-looking storefront. The brand required a custom ecommerce system that could stay visually fresh without forcing the team to rebuild pages from scratch every time they wanted to launch new content or merchandising campaigns.
That meant solving two challenges at once. First, the site needed to communicate a premium pet wellness brand identity in a clean and modern way. Second, it had to support a more commercial, conversion-focused shopping flow — especially on product pages and inside the cart.
From the beginning, the project centered on:

The cart was built as a meaningful part of the conversion journey, with a fully custom experience focused on AOV growth. A standout feature: an animated Shopify free shipping progress bar that updates smoothly as items are added or removed. This small detail makes the cart feel polished and responsive, improving custom cart UX and conversion optimization.

To further increase AOV, we added a custom product recommendation slider inside the cart. This Shopify cart upsell feature surfaces relevant products after the customer has committed to adding an item but before checkout—ideal for cross-selling dog/cat supplements, gut health, and mobility support items without interrupting browsing.
