We were challenged to build a Native Android app with Java and a Node JS backend exclusively for The Voice in 24 hours. We had to use The Voice API to access data and build something that would be useful for The Voice fans. The app had to be able to run on both a phone and a tablet and had to be optimized for speed and efficiency.

The Voice came to us to develop a second-screen experience aggregating data for continuous delivery to mobile devices. They wanted to shine a light on episode highlights, contestants, and coaches, allowing viewers to interact with the show in real time. They also wanted to provide viewers with an easy way to share their thoughts and experiences with other fans of the show.
