
Web & Mobile Booking Platform for Tours and Travel
Challenge
The client came to dev.family with a concept for a digital travel booking platform that would give users full control over their travel planning process. The existing market was dominated by outdated agency websites that required human managers, lacked real-time updates, and provided fragmented booking experiences spread across multiple operators.
The challenge was to build a unified travel ecosystem that could integrate offers from dozens of tour operators and allow travelers to compare, combine, and book every service - flights, hotels, excursions, and add-ons - within a single interface.

This layer collects, standardizes, and caches travel data to ensure consistent user experience even when source systems differ. The backend uses Laravel and Go for performance-critical components, with PostgreSQL and Redis databases for stability and speed.
Frontend and UX.
The platform was built with React, Next.js, and React Native to ensure seamless web and mobile experiences. Particular attention was paid to the booking flow - users can browse tours, select hotels and flights, add optional extras, and complete payment all in one streamlined session. The system updates availability in real time, preventing booking conflicts and outdated prices.
