Mobile Ecosystem for AI-Driven Smart Logistics
Challenge
The client had a robust web platform for inventory and order management but lacked a solution for the physical "floor" operations. Warehouse staff and merchants were tethered to desktop stations to print shipping labels or verify inventory. To compete with legacy logistics giants, they needed to make their AI-driven fulfillment process mobile, fast, and completely transparent.
The client needed to:
- Move the fulfillment process from the desktop to the warehouse floor.
- Eliminate manual data entry errors through hardware integration.
- Create a seamless bridge between their AI cloud platform and physical devices (printers/scanners).

Solution
We developed a native iOS application that serves as a "pocket warehouse manager," allowing users to handle complex logistics workflows without touching a computer.
Key Functional Modules:
- Hardware Integration Hub: The core of the application. We built a robust system to discover, pair, and maintain connections with specific Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) peripherals.
Custom Thermal Printers: Enabled one-tap printing of 4x6 shipping labels directly from the iOS device.
Barcode/QR Scanners: Integrated external scanners for rapid inventory intake and order verification.
- Smart Fulfillment Workflow: An interface that guides the user through picking, packing, and shipping. The app validates items against the order manifest in real-time to prevent shipping errors.
- Inventory Visibility: Real-time tracking of available, committed, and in-transit stock across different regions (US, Canada, Australia).
- Address Validation: Integration of the client's AI logic to flag and correct address issues before a label is purchased.

Results
The collaboration resulted in a tangible asset that bridged the gap between the client's AI algorithms and physical logistics execution.
- MVP Delivered: We successfully released the iOS application, enabling the client to offer a "mobile-first" fulfillment experience—a key differentiator in their market.
- Investment Secured: The working MVP served as proof-of-concept for investors. Demonstrating the ability to print labels and manage inventory via a phone helped the client close their seed funding round.
- Idea Validation: The pilot launch confirmed that mobile apps significantly reduce fulfillment time compared to traditional desktop setups, validating the core business premise.
