Omni Browser — Custom Brave-Based Browser Development
Challenge
Omni came to Entalogics with a clear but ambitious vision — build a browser that combined privacy, crypto, and AI into a single seamless product. They wanted something built on a proven open-source foundation but fully customized to their brand and ecosystem. The challenge was multi-layered: forking and customizing Brave's source code while adding entirely new features that don't exist in any standard browser, then shipping it across four platforms — Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS — with a consistent, native feel on each. Standard browser customization at the extension layer wasn't enough. This required deep integration at the browser core level, plus building a real cross-platform delivery pipeline from scratch.

Solution
Entalogics forked Brave's open-source browser — itself built on Chromium — and rebuilt the user experience from the ground up. We redesigned the homepage with real-time widgets including crypto prices, news feeds, and weather, giving users immediate access to Omni's ecosystem on every new tab. We built a native VPN directly into the browser — one tap protection with no external apps or extensions required. We integrated a non-custodial crypto wallet at the browser level, eliminating the need for plugins. We built an AI search toggle that lets users switch between standard search and AI-powered search instantly. We also layered in additional privacy controls tailored to Omni's audience. The entire product was built and optimized for Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS — ensuring consistent performance and native feel across all platforms.
