Quality Engineering for a Dental Case Management Platform
Challenge
Arklign's dental case management platform had no QA process in place — no test documentation, no release management, no automation, and no structured coverage across web or mobile. With clinical and lab workflows dependent on the platform, every release carried high risk of production defects reaching dental clinics and laboratories worldwide.

Solution
We built the entire QA function from zero. Starting with documentation, we designed a test plan aligned with real clinical workflows and built regression coverage from scratch: 5,000+ test cases for web, 2,000+ for mobile, achieving ~95% and ~90% functional coverage respectively. We then scaled through automation — 900+ E2E tests, 100+ API tests, 24 parallel execution threads, and a smoke suite running in ~10 minutes — integrated directly into CI/CD. Performance testing under realistic load patterns identified bottlenecks before they reached production.

Results
3,000+ critical bugs caught before production across 100+ web and 50+ mobile releases. Parallel automation and CI/CD integration enabled frequent releases without increasing QA headcount. Platform stability held under growing load as user adoption scaled. Reliable delivery supported Arklign's market growth and contributed to Inc. 5000 recognition in 2018.
