Filtron.eu & WixEurope.com — Enterprise CMS Migration to Adobe AEM
Challenge
MANN+HUMMEL FT Poland needed to migrate two major international brand websites — filtron.eu and wixeurope.com — from a custom Sulu CMS / Symfony stack to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The challenge was compounded by the complexity of multi-language content across multiple European markets, an advanced product search engine that could not be migrated simultaneously, and the need to maintain 100% uptime throughout the entire migration process.

The challenge was compounded by the complexity of multi-language content across multiple European markets, an advanced product search engine that could not be migrated simultaneously, and the need to maintain 100% uptime throughout the entire migration process.
Solution
We executed the migration in phases over three years. Phase one covered filtron.eu — full layout migration and content migration to AEM. Phase two covered wixeurope.com. The advanced product search engine — built on Sulu/Symfony with multi-language framework support — was retained as a separate system due to its complexity. We implemented a Cloudflare traffic routing solution to seamlessly direct users between the new AEM-based site and the legacy search engine, making the split infrastructure invisible to end users. The entire process required precise coordination between the new AEM environment and the existing Sulu stack running in parallel.
