When the client approached us they were looking for expert help to identify areas of improvement in their iPad app, which is the key software component in their most popular photo booth to date.
When the client approached us they were looking for expert help to identify areas of improvement in their iPad app, which is the key software component in their most popular photo booth to date.
Solution
The iPad app —which powers most of the booth's features— is a really complex piece of software, because it allows lots of customization options for every event. This is one of the reasons why when we first started working on the app we found lots of room for improvement. The first few weeks we focused on housekeeping tasks to get the codebase to an optimal state.
After this we started working on adding really exciting and challenging features to the app, like an offline mode for events where there is no internet service, a hands-free mode which makes the photo booth safe to use in times of Covid or adding fun AR filters to generate a delightful experience for end-users during events.
We continue to work with the client to this day and always look forward to the next big challenge.
