Challenge
When we started working with them, Memcare already had two solutions on the market - Memcare Partner, a funeral home management system, and Memcare Notify, a tool to simplify funeral arrangements for grieving families.
They already had an existing development team but wanted to move faster with their development process, which at that moment meant rewriting the application's front-end from Ruby on Rails to React and adding new functions in both apps.
There were also additional challenges to face:
Very short deadlines for designs
Creating the onboarding process for Memcare Notify
Designing new branding elements and refreshing the existing ones
Cooperating with Memcare's internal development team

Solution
The development process lasted two months, during which we not only rewrote the whole front-end from scratch, but also redesigned Memcare Partner and Memcare Notify. We gave it a new, more modern look that improved the user experience and was also consistent with React best practices. During our cooperation, Ideamotive's developers helped improve the quality of work, processes and technical knowledge together Memcare's internal development team.

Memcare could deliver their product to the market much faster, but also with better quality code and designs. It also helped the client get another investment round from their investor.
We assisted Memcare's internal development team with switching from Trello - their previous project management tool - to Jira, which we used during our cooperation. They also gained a lot of know-how about frontend development in React.
