Challenge

DF18+ Cosmetics is a high-end skincare brand founded by Dario Ferrari, utilizing patented "Green Biotechnology." The primary challenge was that their existing digital presence did not match the sophistication of their products. The previous website suffered from slow load times and a generic layout that failed to communicate the complex scientific benefits of their 18+ active ingredients.

Furthermore, the brand needed a "mobile-first" approach. The luxury beauty consumer predominantly shops on mobile, and the old site was not optimized for touch interactions or fast browsing. The client required a complete overhaul redesigning the site from scratch to create a seamless, educational, and high-converting flagship store without compromising on page speed or SEO rankings.

Solution

Identixweb Limited approached this project with a focus on "Performance Meets Prestige." We engineered a fully custom Shopify theme that stripped away unnecessary bloat to ensure lightning-fast Core Web Vitals scores.

To address the storytelling challenge, we developed bespoke layouts for the "Journal" and "Discover Our World" sections. These custom modules allow the brand to weave video content, ingredient breakdowns, and "Before/After" results directly into the shopping journey without cluttering the interface.

Technically, we implemented a "Sticky Add-to-Cart" feature on product pages to keep the purchase button accessible at all times, drastically improving conversion rates on long-form product pages. We also optimized the navigation to be intuitive, guiding users effortlessly from education (learning about the science) to purchase.

Results

The launch of the new DF18+ Cosmetics website delivered an immediate upgrade in brand perception. The site now functions as a true digital flagship, effectively communicating the luxury and science behind the brand.

Key outcomes included a significant improvement in mobile usability and page load speeds, which directly contributed to lower bounce rates. The new structure allows the marketing team to launch campaigns more effectively, knowing the landing pages are optimized for conversion. The client now has a scalable, robust platform that supports their international growth and high-volume traffic spikes during product drops.
