Challenge

INNERLUXES is a software development company whose engineers work daily with client source code, repositories, cloud consoles and confidential IP under strict NDAs. A single leak, a downloaded repo, a copied snippet, a screenshot or a secret pasted into an unapproved AI tool, could breach client trust. Ordinary consumer browsers gave the company no visibility or control over these actions. Stitching together VPNs, virtual desktops and heavy endpoint DLP agents was costly, slow and frustrated developers, and managing contractors' personal devices was impractical. The company needed protection that lives at the exact point where client code is viewed and handled, travels with the work rather than the device, and keeps engineers fast and productive.

Solution

Rather than bolting security around the work, INNERLUXES built its own Chromium-based enterprise browser that puts controls exactly where the work happens. Secure workspaces isolate each client or project, while a Secured Workspace locks down sensitive projects so code cannot be downloaded, copied or screenshotted out. Last-mile DLP governs downloads, copy/paste, printing and screenshots, and application boundaries block data from leaving for personal storage, email or unapproved destinations. A companion Admin Console provides an application library, conditional access policies, a policy simulator and an approval workflow enforcing least privilege, plus governed in-browser RDP and SSH access to remote servers. A built-in assistant, Ask INNERLUXES AI, lets the team use AI without pasting client code into public chatbots, and shadow-IT visibility surfaces risky apps. The familiar Chromium experience keeps the learning curve minimal.

Results

The INNERLUXES Browser is now live and in use across the entire team. Client source code stays inside the controlled environment, turning "never leak client code" from a rule employees must remember into a default the work environment enforces automatically. A single secure browser replaced a stack of VPN, VDI and DLP tools, lowering cost and complexity. Contractors and freelancers are onboarded and offboarded in minutes with access scoped to a single client, and a full audit trail helps demonstrate compliance with client NDAs and security requirements. Developers get a familiar Chromium experience with built-in AI instead of a slow VDI session, while work/personal separation preserves employee privacy and makes BYOD acceptable across the team.
