Tableau Report Recovery
Challenge
Due to the lack of an assigned developer, the client’s Tableau reports had not been maintained for almost a year. Over time, multiple reports became non-functional as data sources broke, credentials expired, and calculated fields stopped working, limiting access to critical business insights.
Due to the lack of an assigned developer, the client’s Tableau reports had not been maintained for almost a year. Over time, multiple reports became non-functional as data sources broke, credentials expired, and calculated fields stopped working, limiting access to critical business insights.
Solution
inVerita conducted a full audit of all published Tableau data sources, validating credentials, server configurations, and dependencies. We restored broken connections, reviewed and corrected calculated fields, and republished shared data sources to resolve issues across multiple reports simultaneously. Individually connected reports were fixed and republished separately to ensure complete coverage.

Results
By prioritizing the most business-critical reports, we quickly restored full functionality across the reporting environment. The client regained reliable access to dashboards and analytics, minimizing disruption and reestablishing confidence in their BI reporting with minimal turnaround time.
