Prior to working with Light IT, the client had already had a website based on a popular website constructor. Consequently, technical difficulties with some major parts of the functionality appeared on a regular basis.

Solution
To resolve the existing issues, improve the workflow, and significantly extend the platform’s functionality, the LIght IT team had to overcome the following challenges: build a fully customized educational web platform based on PHP and React; develop a multi-level user roles & permission system (open access, visitor, manager, practitioner, and instructor access) with specific portals for managers, practitioners, and instructors; introduce a robust automated notifications system (whereas in the previous version of the website notifications were sent manually by administrators); ensure automated invoicing and integrate a payment gateway (Xero & Stripe); establish a multimedia asset library storing different file formats (videos, audios, images, text docs, etc.)

At the end of the development stage, our customer received a fully custom web solution that perfectly meets all the company’s business requirements. Its introduction led to a visible productivity boost as many tasks, such as invoicing, notifications, and user management were fully automated.
The participants have particularly noted that the new system is extremely intuitive and easy to work with. Consequently, the customer satisfaction rate and client retention have also improved significantly.
