The system is designed to detect the deriver’s behavior using an App. The application uses the data collected from the GPS, accelerometer, magnetometer, gyroscopes and other virtual sensors from the smartphone. Some of the driver’s activities detected by the app are:
o Driving too quickly around the corner
o Making sharp turns
o Applying frequent brakes and frequent acceleration
o Distracted driving (i.e. taking calls or messaging while driving)

Solution
The data is used to determine the behavior of the driver while driving i.e. rash, risky, normal or aggressive. This is done using the sensor fusion with machine learning and then defining a driving behavior score along with suggestions on how to bring improvements in driving.
