Challenge

A big campaign quickly brought in many visitors, which was exciting! However, the increased traffic caused pages to slow down, the site to go down a few times, and a long checkout process led some customers to leave. As a result, it impacted the conversion rate and revenue. Clearly, the old setup wasn't quite able to handle such busy times effectively.

Solution

We've redesigned the site to be cleaner and easier to manage, using technologies like Remix, Node.js, and TypeScript. Our team streamlined product pages and shortened the checkout process, making it simpler for everyone to shop, whether on phone or desktop. Moving to Vercel hosting helps our store handle busy days smoothly and delivers pages quickly from locations near our customers. We introduced improvements gradually, kept a close eye on page speed and error rates, and only launched new features when everything looked great. Additionally, we managed to lower hosting costs by choosing a better plan and cutting unnecessary expenses.
