Challenge
GoShift operates in India's packers and movers industry - a fragmented, unorganised sector that has historically run on phone calls, manual coordination, and zero technology infrastructure.
The client came to NavikX with a clear business goal: build a technology-first logistics brand that could compete with established urban players while operating efficiently across Tier-2 cities in Tamil Nadu including Chennai, Coimbatore, Tirunelveli, Tiruchirappalli, and Theni.
The core challenge was not just building a website - it was architecting an entire operations ecosystem from scratch.
The client needed three interconnected products to go live simultaneously:
- A public-facing website to establish brand credibility and capture customer enquiries with transparent pricing.
- A customer-facing mobile app to enable self-service booking of house shifting, bike shifting, and delivery services.
- A driver-partner operations app to manage the on-ground workforce - handling order assignments, live navigation, proof-of-delivery documentation, payments, and performance tracking.
Each product had to function independently while staying in real-time sync with the others.
The driver app in particular required complex features:
OTP-based verification, GPS navigation, wallet management, POP/POD image uploads, and a tier-based performance system - all within a clean interface usable by drivers with varied levels of tech literacy.
Delivering three production-grade products under one engagement, with operational constraints of a growing logistics startup, was the defining challenge.

Solution
NavikX designed and delivered three interconnected products under a single unified engagement.
Website (goshift.in): A structured, SEO-optimised marketing and lead-generation platform built to communicate GoShift's full service range - house shifting, bike shifting, truck transport, intra-city and intercity delivery.
The site includes clear service category pages, city coverage information, a transparent pricing structure, quote request flows, and mobile-responsive design optimised for performance.
The technology stack was chosen for speed and SEO strength, ensuring GoShift ranked for relevant searches in its target cities.
Customer App: A dedicated Android application allowing customers to browse shifting and delivery services, initiate bookings, track their order status, and manage their moves - with a clean, accessible UI designed for users making high-stress relocation decisions.
The experience was designed to reduce phone-call dependency and give customers full visibility over their booking.
Driver App (GoShift Driver - live on Google Play): The most technically complex component of the engagement.
Built for GoShift's driver-partner network with a complete operational workflow:
- Order viewing, assignment, and acceptance
- Live GPS navigation from pickup to delivery point
- Real-time order status synchronisation
- OTP-based pickup and delivery verification
- POP and POD image capture and upload
- In-app wallet with payment tracking and transaction records
- Performance monitoring with tier progression system
- Onboarding and training module for new driver-partners
- Full data encryption in transit, Google Play policy compliant
The three products were architected to share a common backend, ensuring real-time consistency across the customer experience and driver operations at all times.

Results
NavikX successfully delivered a complete three-sided logistics technology platform for GoShift, enabling the client to launch as a technology-first packers and movers brand across five cities in Tamil Nadu.
Key outcomes of the engagement:
Platform live across five cities: GoShift is now operational in Chennai, Coimbatore, Tirunelveli, Tiruchirappalli, and Theni - with the same operating standards and digital workflows active across all locations.
Driver app published and active on Google Play: The GoShift Driver app (com.sitehec.driver_app) is live on the Google Play Store, actively used by the driver-partner network to manage daily operations. The app was last updated in April 2026, reflecting an ongoing and active platform.
Operational efficiency through digital workflows: The OTP-based verification, real-time GPS navigation, and POP/POD documentation system replaced manual, phone-based coordination - significantly reducing operational errors and improving trip accountability for the business.
Customer trust through transparent pricing: The website's no-hidden-charges pricing structure and clear service breakdown improved customer confidence and reduced friction in the enquiry-to-booking conversion process.
Scalable infrastructure for expansion: The shared backend architecture means GoShift can onboard new cities, driver-partners, and service categories without rebuilding the platform - the foundation is designed to scale.
The engagement is ongoing, with NavikX continuing to support platform maintenance, updates, and feature development as GoShift grows its operational footprint across South India.
