Challenge

Contentsquare is an experience optimization platform for business that captures visitor behavior insights, designed to help increase conversions. It uses artificial intelligence to provide automatic recommendations. With intuitive technology that reveals the behavior, intent and feelings of any and every user, they allow businesses to deliver more human experiences quickly, while ensuring privacy and accessibility. This results in faster growth, greater agility and happier customers. As Contentsquare were growing, they were slowly moving away from a standard ecommerce website that was solely focused on online purchases, to a primarily lead generation website, it needed a lot of content pages to showcase and advertise their unique service.

Solution

Contentsquare also wanted the ability to generate landing pages quickly and easily for different advertising campaigns, as well as update their portfolio regularly. For these reasons it made sense for WordPress to be the engine behind the majority of the site. They wanted their pricing structure to be made clearer on the new website. In addition, the website needed to integrate with their internal core product system so that registrations could be made and paid for online. Contentsquare wanted a new website built bespoke to their needs so that they could have the whole functionality that they need to fully service their users. They needed reliable and honest advice, communication and quick response times.

Results

The new website was a familiar, but improved experience for the website’s returning user base, with cleaner product blocks and improved navigation and filtering. In the admin panel we created custom post types for case studies and products to make them easy to manage and update. The biggest improvement that was made from a front-end perspective was the mobile experience. The original website was not up to standard for mobile devices so we made this a priority, again putting a lot of focus on the navigation. One of the main issues we’ve fix was the speed performance of the website, in preparation for the Core Web Vitals algorithm update. There were also a number of on-page content issues; nearly 1/3 of all of the pages were missing a main heading (H1) which we’ve added and fixed.
