AR Car Showroom
Challenge
The hardest part was realism without performance collapse. High-fidelity 3D models must capture materials and details (leather textures, metallic paint, interior reflections), but detailed assets can overwhelm hardware, especially on mobile-class AR/VR devices. Another challenge was balancing visual fidelity with smooth frame rates—any lag breaks immersion and trust. The product also needed a natural interaction model: users should intuitively navigate, inspect, and customize vehicles without learning complex controls or encountering motion discomfort.

Solution
Onix built a VR showroom experience centered on lifelike 3D modeling, optimization, and interaction design. We developed detailed car assets and optimized them to run smoothly while preserving visual quality. The environment and interactions were designed to feel “showroom real,” enabling close inspection, customization, and experiential exploration. Throughout development, we tested performance and comfort, tuning rendering settings, asset complexity, and interaction flows to keep frame rates stable. The result is an XR product that combines premium visuals with practical usability.

Results
The retailer gained a scalable way to showcase a broader catalog of luxury vehicles without physical space constraints, improving the customer journey and enabling high-end exploration from anywhere. The immersive experience supports richer engagement than traditional photos or static configurators, helping customers understand design options and feel more confident before visiting a physical location. The solution also provides a foundation for future expansions—new models, updated showrooms, and enhanced interactions—without rebuilding the core experience.
