The platform required complex multi-role logic: admin roles, agency roles, staff permissions, and traveler roles—all while enforcing strict data segregation between agencies. The booking flow needed to support partial payments and an agency approval mechanism before confirmation, adding business complexity beyond a typical checkout. The discovery experience had to be fast and personalized with smart search and filters, and the architecture had to handle seasonal traffic spikes without sacrificing performance or creating cross-tenant data risk.
