Challenge

A California-based business financing company specializing in Merchant Cash Advances needed to modernize its loan application and approval process. Manual verification of applicant data, bank statements, and financial eligibility caused delays in approvals and limited the company’s ability to scale its lending operations.

Solution

The team developed a Salesforce-based loan application platform to automate the entire funding lifecycle. The solution featured a multi-step digital application interface for collecting business information, owner details, and financial metrics.

Real-time loan eligibility calculations were implemented using business rules based on revenue, time in business, credit score, and requested loan amount. Applicants could upload financial documents or automatically retrieve bank statements through Finicity API integration.

The system was integrated with multiple financial partner APIs, including Kapitus, Rapid Finance, and OnDeck, enabling automated loan submissions and lender responses.

Communication integrations with Twilio and RingCentral supported automated SMS notifications, phone calls, and real-time application status updates.

The backend architecture leveraged Salesforce Apex controllers, Visualforce interfaces, and AWS serverless infrastructure to ensure scalability and high-performance processing of large volumes of loan applications.

Results

The platform reduced loan approval time from several days to minutes through automated eligibility checks and document processing. The enhanced digital experience increased application completion rates, while the scalable Salesforce architecture enabled the company to handle significantly higher application volumes.
