On Demand Delivery Tracking App

The idea was to develop a combination of a web app (for the business owner) and a mobile app (for delivery staff) for synchronizing ordering and delivery operations; at the same time, keeping the customers in the loop. The web app has a no-frills interface designed for viewing incoming orders from customers, assigning tasks to delivery agents and managing them remotely. The business admin can live-track delivery staff – their current location and travel routes (in expandable map view), distance travelled, total time taken for delivery.

The delivery tracking application improved accountability and operational efficiency among delivery personnel; the app’s Analytics and Reports feature captures all the data related to the staff performance and helps generate reports for reference.
