Solution
SENLA developed a custom web service that allowed airline logistics personnel to have a full control of the cargo transportation and document management operations. The final solution helped the Client to effectively plan and manage all stages of cargo transportation:
- chart routes with or without transfers;process transportation documents;
- calculate cargo capacity of the aircraft;
- estimate shipping cost and cost of good delivery to the the departure zone;
- arrange the delivery from the warehouse to the nearest airport;
- plan the loading process, cargo packing and sealing;
- organize unloading of delivered cargo and transportation from the airport to the recipient.
