Challenge
The client struggled with patient information scattered across siloed systems, resulting in incomplete data flow and a high risk of overlooking critical health changes. Traditional, reactive alarm systems led to delayed responses and frequent false alarms, causing staff alarm fatigue. Additionally, hospital personnel spent excessive time on routine checks and documentation, hindering their ability to engage with patients and deliver essential hands-on care.

Solution
We developed a real-time AI Patient Monitoring Dashboard, integrating data from existing RPM systems. The solution incorporates predictive analytics to calculate a Deterioration Risk Score, allowing staff to intervene sooner for high-risk patients. Furthermore, an intelligent system examines trends and context to eliminate false alarms, ensuring staff is only notified of clinically significant changes.

Results
The new system streamlined patient observation, drastically reducing the likelihood of human error in vital sign tracking and manual data entry. By leveraging predictive insights, the staff could identify and mitigate potential health issues earlier, leading to improved patient safety and outcomes.
