As mobile commerce began to dominate the retail landscape, the client faced a critical challenge. How could they replicate and enhance their successful web experience on mobile platforms while ensuring scalability, performance, and secure transactions?

They wanted to:

Solution

1. Building a Native, Cloud-Connected App
Suretek engineered two fully native mobile applications, one for Android (Kotlin) and another for iOS (Swift), ensuring high performance, better access to device features, and superior offline capabilities.

For rapid scalability and a unified codebase for future updates, we built the backend using Node.js and Laravel, orchestrated with RESTful APIs that connect seamlessly with the mobile frontends. The app was hosted on AWS, enabling elastic scaling, automated deployments via Docker, and continuous integration for faster release cycles.

2. Smarter Shopping Experience
Our team integrated real-time product synchronization, ensuring that any updates on the client’s eCommerce website were reflected instantly in the mobile app.

4. Security & Data Protection
Security was non-negotiable. We incorporated OAuth 2.0, JWT-based authentication, and end-to-end encryption for all API transactions. Payment data was processed via PCI DSS-compliant gateways, ensuring that sensitive user information never touched the app’s servers.

5. Collaborative Development & Launch
Suretek followed an Agile development process, releasing iterative builds every two weeks. Each sprint included user testing and feedback from the client’s QA team in Sweden. After a successful beta launch and A/B testing, the apps went live on both Apple App Store and Google Play Store, supported by post-launch maintenance and analytics monitoring.
