Challenge

Supervisors with their charges go through 15-20 sales outlets daily, completing questionnaires as they work. So, with each employee, there are an average of seven people per supervisor. Previously, information on the results of merchandisers' training and certification was recorded only on paper. Processing paper questionnaires was time-consuming for supervisors: the data had to be processed to give feedback, transfer employees' indicators to an Excel spreadsheet to track the dynamics and plan the next activities.

Solution

The solution consists of a web-portal and an iPad application. Supervisors can plan team development, conduct training and certification, provide feedback, and adjust further development plans. Quickly and conveniently, without excessive paperwork. On the portal, the supervisor plans training, attestation and audit of sales outlets for the following week. During the follow-ups, they fill out a questionnaire on their iPad assessing the quality of work according to the company's standards, set up goals, indicate an employee's strengths and weaknesses, formulate tasks for self-development. Returning to the portal, a supervisor analyzes the results and development dynamics of the team or a specific employee for a certain period of time.

Results

Since the launch of the product, company employees have conducted more than 6000 support and audits, the product is used by more than 100 active users, 600 merchandisers have been trained, certified and audited outlets.The iPad application has completely eliminated paper questionnaires from the training process. The time spent on the preparation of all the necessary reporting has been significantly reduced. Manual data filling is reduced to a minimum, as all the process is automized by the app. Supervisors can devote more time to supervision, training and processing testimonials and quality feedback.
