Challenge
The client approached us with the idea of creating an educational platform that would bridge this gap. The challenge was to design a solution that combined structured online lessons and assessments with a realistic simulation environment powered by live market data. Based on these insights, we designed and implemented an eLearning platform that integrates three essential components: structured educational modules, a trading simulator, and mentor-driven support.
The platform offers online lessons and interactive tests to help learners understand the basics of investing. To bridge the gap between theory and practice, we built an investment simulator that allows users to trade with virtual money using real-time stock and currency market data. This creates a safe but highly realistic environment for learners to practice decision-making.
On the backend, we developed mentor dashboards and progress-tracking tools so that experienced investors can review student activity, provide personalized feedback, and guide them through the learning process. Gamification elements, such as achievements and progress milestones, were also added to increase user engagement. The system was built as a responsive web platform with secure APIs and the ability to scale as the user base grows.
