Favourhoods: Simplifying city-based accommodation discovery
Challenge
Favourhoods aimed to simplify how users choose where to stay within a city by focusing on neighbourhood-level recommendations. However, the existing platform structure made it difficult to clearly organize and present this information in a consistent way.
As new cities and destinations were added, the lack of a structured content hierarchy created confusion in how neighbourhood data was managed and displayed. This issue became more noticeable with the introduction of multilingual content, where English and German versions needed to stay aligned without breaking layout consistency or user experience.
