Leap Taxi - Cab Booking and Riding Mobile App
Challenge
A transportation services business wanted to strengthen its digital presence by launching a cab booking application that makes ride-hailing simple, fast, and reliable for passengers. Operating in the mobility and transportation industry, the client needed an intuitive booking experience, real-time GPS tracking for riders and drivers, secure cashless payments, and growth features such as referral codes and promo offers. The system also had to scale easily as the user and driver network expands.

Solution
We designed and developed Leap Taxi as a complete ride-hailing ecosystem available on web and Android.
The Android app was built using Flutter for smooth performance, supported by a responsive web platform developed with Flutter Web for ride management and onboarding. GPS-based tracking and navigation were integrated using Google Maps API, along with fare estimation, ride history, and real-time notifications powered by WebSockets. Referral and promo code systems were added to encourage adoption, while secure payment options and cash support ensured flexibility.
The backend was developed using Node.js, Nest.js, and MongoDB, and deployed on AWS to ensure scalability, reliability, and secure hosting.
