The client wanted to build a comprehensive automotive service and cybersecurity platform that brings vehicle protection, diagnostics, and everyday car services into a single ecosystem. Operating in the automotive and vehicle cybersecurity industry, the goal was to protect vehicles from cyber threats, detect issues such as odometer fraud, and offer convenient services like roadside assistance and insurance comparison. The platform needed to support diagnostics across 2,000+ car models, work smoothly on both Android and iOS, and scale efficiently to handle large volumes of vehicle and service data.

Solution
We developed VT Scan as a full-featured automotive and cybersecurity platform combining diagnostics, safety, and convenience. Mobile apps for iOS and Android were built using Flutter for consistent performance, supported by a web platform developed with Angular and PHP for service management and user dashboards. The backend was implemented using Java and SpringBoot to handle vehicle diagnostics, data processing, and service requests. MySQL was used for structured data storage, while ElasticSearch enabled fast querying of fault codes and diagnostic reports. Cybersecurity modules were integrated to detect odometer fraud and CAN Bus vulnerabilities, alongside real-time services such as roadside assistance, car wash bookings, fuel recharges, insurance comparison, and vehicle resale tools. A user-friendly UI/UX ensured smooth navigation across all features.
