As the number of drivers increased, the client's company was faced with the need to optimize the costs associated with truck fuel. In particular, the company's drivers, moving along a previously built route, chose the gas stations they met, not focusing on the fuel price and its supply in the tank. In some cases, it would be better to get to other more remote stations with more loyal prices. This factor could be optimized by a solution that would prompt drivers where and at what cost they can fill up the tank in real time. That is why the client decided to contact us to create such a service, since there are no analogs on the market yet.

This solution was conceived to optimize the company's work processes and reduce costs associated with fuel consumption. Thus, with the help of this application, drivers will be able to plan a route based on nearby gas stations.

Results
At the moment, our Research & Development company is in the process of working on the project. In the near future, the client plans to supplement the existing MVP with analytics that will help save money by suggesting gas stations with the lowest fuel prices. In the long term, we will enrich the solution with features that will turn it into a full-fledged TMS for managing all the company's internal processes: displaying drivers in real time, exchanging routes between the mobile application and the admin panel, as well as accessing the service for other companies and drivers.
