Challenge

The primary challenge for Thunder Said Energy was ensuring that their highly technical, data-driven research portal could deliver a continuous stream of complex content (reports, data models, long-form analysis) to global energy sector professionals without being hampered by latency. Given the size and frequent updates of their downloadable data files and premium content, site performance and content security were paramount. As the provider, our main challenge was engineering a high-speed architecture capable of serving massive data packets reliably, while simultaneously integrating a sophisticated, secure subscription model to protect their premium intellectual property.
