Challenge
Aionys designed and developed MyMaestor, a two-sided local services marketplace for the Bulgarian market connecting customers with service professionals. The solution includes iOS and Android mobile apps, a web-based administration panel, and backend infrastructure supporting marketplace operations.
The client had a marketplace concept but needed to turn it into a fully functional mobile product capable of supporting two different types of users within the same ecosystem.
Customers needed a simple way to find relevant service providers, evaluate their credibility, communicate with them, and place orders. At the same time, professionals needed their own tools to present services, manage incoming requests, communicate with customers, and track orders.
A key product challenge was creating trust and transparency in a local services marketplace where users may be choosing a professional they have never worked with before. The experience therefore needed to make verification, ratings, reviews, portfolios, and previous activity easy to understand without making the product difficult to navigate.

Solution
Aionys designed the UX/UI and developed MyMaestor as a cross-platform mobile marketplace supported by a web administration system.
The product was structured around two connected user experiences:
For customers:
- Location-based service discovery
- Professional profiles with portfolios, ratings, reviews, and verification status
- Service ordering and booking
- Direct communication with professionals
- Location sharing and notifications
For professionals: - Profile and service management
- Customer request handling
- Order management
- Client communication
- Subscription functionality
Aionys also developed the administrative layer for managing users, categories, subscriptions, promotional codes, and marketplace activity.
The mobile apps use React Native, Expo, and TypeScript, allowing the iOS and Android versions to share a common development foundation.

Results
Aionys took MyMaestor from an early-stage product concept to its first production mobile release between November 2025 and May 2026.
By September 2026, the platform had attracted more than 1,000 users in Bulgaria.
The application also achieved visibility in both major mobile app stores, reaching #17 among free Business apps on Google Play in Bulgaria and #38 in the Bulgarian App Store.
The initial launch established a functioning two-sided marketplace and a scalable technical foundation for expanding the platform with additional services, users, and marketplace capabilities.
