Processes and approach
How do you gather and validate client requirements?
We start with a free call to understand the business problem, who will use the software and what success looks like. Then we write up the scope in plain language, list the core features and agree on what goes into the first version. Before any build work starts, we share wireframes or a clickable prototype so you can check that we understood you correctly. The same engineers who scope the project also build it, so nothing gets lost in a handoff.
How do you ensure alignment with client goals and business strategy?
We ask what the software needs to change for your business, such as saving staff time, winning more leads or replacing a costly tool, and we tie every feature back to that goal. If a feature does not serve it, we suggest leaving it for later. We start with a focused first version, test it with real users and use what we learn to decide what to build next.
Which software development methodologies do you use (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum)?
We work in an Agile way with short sprints. Each sprint has a clear set of tasks, ends with a working build you can try, and is followed by a review where we agree on priorities for the next one. For projects with a fixed scope we plan the full roadmap up front, but we still deliver in small working pieces so you see progress early.
How do you keep clients and stakeholders updated on project progress?
You get access to a shared project board where you can see what is planned, in progress and done. We send written progress updates, share staging links so you can try new features as they land, and you can reach the team directly by email, WhatsApp or Slack.
How frequently do you hold check-in meetings or status updates?
We hold a check-in call every week by default, plus a sprint review demo at the end of each sprint. During launches or busy stretches we can meet more often, and some clients prefer written updates instead of calls. We set the rhythm with you at the start.
What quality assurance practices do you follow?
Every change goes through code review by another engineer before it is merged. We write automated tests for core features, test on real devices and browsers, and check every build on a staging environment before it goes live. Before launch we run performance, security and accessibility checks, and you sign off on each feature after testing it yourself.
How do you identify and manage project risks?
We look for risks during scoping, such as third party integrations, unclear requirements or data migration, and tackle the riskiest parts early so surprises show up when they are cheap to fix. We keep a short list of open risks, review it at each check-in and tell you straight away if something could affect scope or budget, along with our suggested options.
What kind of support or maintenance do you offer after delivery?
After launch we stay on to fix bugs, monitor uptime and performance, apply security updates and keep dependencies current. We also offer ongoing development plans for new features and improvements. You own the code from day one, so you are never locked in. If you choose to move the project in house, we hand over full documentation and help your team get started.
