The client was expecting MVP to be done quickly so that product can go out for acceptance testing. The target market was South Asia & targeted customers belong to the age group of 30-60, so the challenge was to integrate local delivery & payment services for payments/payouts. The user experience needs to be good as our targeted customers are not tech-savvy.

In the initial stage, we conducted research and planned an architecture design, proposing the use of the Spree framework for our eCommerce base. We selected the Pickup service for instant delivery, seamlessly integrated into our application and providing live delivery rates during checkout. For payments and payouts, we opted for Stripe, enabling card payments through Stripe Payments integration and facilitating instant payouts to merchants while retaining a service fee.
