Challenge

Metro DTW Black Cars needed a production-ready digital booking platform that could support its chauffeur and transportation operations across Detroit and the surrounding DTW service area. The business required more than a standard marketing website: customers needed a simple way to explore services, select locations and submit reservations, while the internal team needed an organized workflow for managing booking information.

Another challenge was search visibility across a large geographic service area. The platform needed an architecture capable of supporting dozens of location-specific pages without compromising navigation, performance or usability.

The system also had to be deployed reliably on the client’s VPS infrastructure with secure HTTPS access, production process management and dependable communication workflows.

Solution

Codantix Tech designed and developed a custom transportation booking platform using a modern Next.js architecture.

We created a customer-facing booking experience, structured service and location pages, an administrative workflow for handling reservations and automated booking communications. The site architecture was built to support more than 45 service-area routes while keeping the experience responsive and search-friendly.

The project included frontend development, booking logic, administrative functionality, route architecture, responsive optimization and production deployment.

For infrastructure, Codantix configured the application on the client’s VPS using Nginx as a reverse proxy, PM2 for Node.js process management and SSL/TLS for secure access. The final platform was tested across major user flows before production launch.

Results

Codantix delivered and launched a production transportation platform supporting more than 45 service-area routes, a functioning reservation workflow, administrative booking management and automated booking communications.

The new architecture gives Metro DTW Black Cars a scalable foundation for adding additional destinations and service pages while maintaining a consistent customer experience.

The application is running on the client’s VPS behind Nginx with PM2 process management and SSL/TLS enabled. The project also consolidated the company’s booking, service-area and customer-facing web experience into one responsive production system.
