Challenge
Measuring timber, board stacks and logs in the field requires dependable volume data even when crews are offline or working with specialist measuring devices. The eWoodMeter family needed to support different wood-measurement workflows, connect to measuring hardware and remain practical for sawmills, yards and forestry crews.

The eWoodMeter family needed to support different wood-measurement workflows, connect to measuring hardware and remain practical for sawmills, yards and forestry crews.
Solution
CodeLoop Studio built the eWoodMeter family for iOS and Android in Flutter. LumberMeter cubes sawn timber and board stacks, while TimberMeter cubes logs and raw wood. The team reverse-engineered the measuring devices' Bluetooth protocol into a shared Flutter plugin, added offline capture, a custom field-use UI kit and Excel packing-list export. A photo-scan model trained on 5,000 lumber images detects about 95% of boards on a typical pack.

Results
The delivered product family provides LumberMeter and TimberMeter workflows across iOS and Android, with live access at ewoodmeter.com. Field teams can capture measurements offline, sync them later and export Excel packing lists. Shared Bluetooth integration and the photo-scan capability bring device connectivity and faster board counting into a consistent Flutter experience.
