Bayernkraft – Digital Transformation of an Auto Center: From Dealership to Its Own Ecosystem
Challenge
Bayernkraft is an independent auto center that initially operated as an official BMW dealer. Over time, the company expanded beyond a single brand – launching car imports from China, working with Nissan and Deepal brands, and adding detailing services.
The company's goal was to move away from the classic auto center model and create its own digital ecosystem with modern customer experience and flexibility to scale new business directions.
The key challenges were:
Outdated positioning. The existing website was BMW-centric and didn't reflect the company's multibrand strategy or new service offerings.
Visual refresh needed. The site looked like a "typical service center" – not aligned with the premium, modern image the company wanted to project.
New business directions. The platform had to support multiple brands (including Chinese EVs and hybrids), detailing services, and car imports – with easy scalability for future additions.
Legal gaps. After a customer dispute, the legal section required a complete revision – consents, data handling, disclaimers, and form compliance.
Limited digital processes. Customer interaction relied heavily on a call center, limiting scalability. The company needed online booking, service history, and personalized offers.
Platform for growth. The website had to become a lead generation tool and marketing asset – not just a digital business card.
Collaboration with dev.family started with a mobile app and grew into a full partnership for business transformation.

Solution
We delivered a full digital transformation – from visual redesign to technical infrastructure and process optimization.
New visual identity. Complete redesign of key pages with updated imagery, photo and video content, and a new detailing section. The site shifted from BMW-centric to multibrand positioning, reflecting a modern team working at official dealer standards.
Support for new business directions. The architecture allows quick addition of new brands and services. Special focus on Chinese EVs and hybrids – Deepal, Voyah, Nissan e-Power – with dedicated sections showcasing the company's expertise, trained staff, and original diagnostic systems.
Legal overhaul. We revised all legal documentation: consents, personal data handling, price disclaimers, and form compliance. Result – no claims or complaints after the update.
Technical optimization. Reworked catalog with car statuses, styled calendar and forms, integrated exchange rates for automatic price recalculation, connected review widgets. The admin panel now allows managers to update services, promotions, banners, and content independently – without developers.
Mobile application. Before the app, everything went through a call center. We implemented online booking for service, diagnostics, and detailing, master selection, service history, push notifications, and personalized offers. This reduced manual operations and improved service speed.
Scalable platform. The website became a lead generation channel, not just a business card. Architecture is ready for further growth – we're now discussing a complete app redesign with unified personal account and CRM integration.
