Belbazar – Mobile Application for a Fashion Marketplace
Challenge
Belbazar is a fashion marketplace focused on local clothing brands. By the time they approached us, the company had a stable website with its own architecture, a loyal audience, and an in-house developer maintaining the API.
Despite growing mobile traffic, there was no mobile application. The client needed to expand their sales channel and provide a more convenient shopping experience for users who increasingly prefer mobile apps over websites.
The key challenges were:
Preserving existing logic. The application had to mirror the website functionality without requiring backend changes or disrupting the current system.
Risk-free API integration. We needed to connect seamlessly with the already prepared API maintained by the client's in-house developer.
Fast and smooth launch. The client expected a proactive team that could quickly bring the product to market without overcomplicating the architecture.
Familiar UX for marketplace users. The interface had to feel intuitive and aligned with standard e-commerce patterns – catalog, filters, favorites, cart, simple checkout.
Local fashion platforms compete through quality assortment, individual approach, and intuitive UX – not scale. Belbazar needed a mobile app that would strengthen the connection between users and local brands while remaining simple, fast, and reliable.

Solution
We proposed a two-stage workflow: first, business analysis, user scenarios, and prototypes; then design, development, testing, and launch.
Simple architecture. The application doesn't require separate backend management – we integrated directly with the client's existing API. This ensured reliability, easy scaling, and no disruption to the current system.
Familiar e-commerce UX. The interface follows standard marketplace patterns users already know:
- Home page with curated selections and featured brands
- Product catalog with filters and categories
- Product cards with photos, descriptions, and recommendations
- Favorites and cart
- Simple checkout flow
Performance focus. The client highlighted screen loading speed and clear catalog structure as key wins. The app turned out light and responsive.
Seamless purchase process. Orders are placed in the app, then confirmed by an operator. Payment is handled externally – cash-on-delivery or via payment service links — keeping the app simple and avoiding complex payment integrations.
Close collaboration. We worked alongside the client's in-house developer, ensuring smooth API integration without backend changes. No overcomplicated solutions – just clear timelines, simple architecture, and careful execution.
