The primary challenge was streamlining the procurement and management of medical equipment and supplies for patients in hospice care, ensuring timely and efficient delivery and maintenance of equipment.

To address these challenges, a web portal and mobile application were developed. The portal allows hospice agencies to order equipment on a rental basis, while the app enables drivers to deliver, pick up, or troubleshoot equipment efficiently. The system includes features for managing inventory, tracking equipment through barcodes, and ensuring equipment prices are adjusted according to specific agency agreements.

The implementation of this solution significantly improved the management and distribution of medical supplies for hospice care, enhancing service delivery to patients and streamlining operations for hospice agencies and their suppliers.
