The HR department of a global U.S.-based corporation needed to analyze an annual employee survey with 11 open-text questions and 1,400+ responses each across 5 languages. Manual review at that scale was not feasible. InData Labs was challenged to automatically identify key themes, sentiment patterns, and problem areas segmented by department, city, and country.

Solution
InData Labs built an aspect-based sentiment analysis solution using LLAMA3 70B to extract and categorize aspects of corporate life—leadership, teamwork, salary, communication, and more—define sentiment for each, and summarize findings per question and overall. Results were translated into English via Helsinki models and compiled into structured reports with sentiment distributions, top aspects, and supporting employee quotes.
