Sembly.AI, an innovative startup in the AI automation space, set out to revolutionize how teams capture and manage information from meetings. The main goal was to build an intelligent platform capable of recording, transcribing, and generating smart summaries from online calls.
However, the challenge was not only in accurate speech recognition but also in developing a robust system of autonomous recording bots that could seamlessly join various conferencing tools (Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.) and adapt to constantly changing environments — from audio quality and connectivity issues to meeting formats and API updates.

Solution
The Jellyfish.tech team collaborated closely with the Sembly.AI engineering department to design and implement the framework for intelligent recording agents (bots).
Our tasks included:
Building the architecture that allows bots to automatically connect to different meeting platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, MS Teams) via APIs;
Implementing adaptive algorithms for audio stream handling and transcription under dynamic conditions;
Creating a testing infrastructure to simulate multi-user environments and evaluate the bots’ reliability under heavy load;
Ensuring high scalability and fault tolerance, enabling the system to handle enterprise-level volumes;
Collaborating with Sembly’s internal AI team to integrate the bots with their proprietary NLP and summarization engines.
